The ulimate goal for the Green Gecko Project is that every child feels safe, happy and healthy through embracing their childhood and having the resources and inspiration to reach their highest potential. 

The Green Gecko Project strives to empower these children with the skills, education, values and self esteem they need to break the begging cycle and become proactive members of society.
Many of the children have already expressed ambitions to follow humanitarian careers such as teaching, development work and medicine, so that they can in turn help others as they have been. 

The Green Gecko Project also provides shelter, care and stability, positive role models, micro businesses, family support, nutrition packs, medical treatment, a loving safe environment and the opportunity to play and belong through the following programs.

• English language classes
• Accredited Khmer school
• A wide variety of activities to inspire and broaden the children's horizons: performing arts,  music, sports, general studies, boxkator (ancient Cambodian, martial arts), arts and crafts, numbers and logics and computer studies.
  

• Three balanced nutritious meal per day
• Medical screening and treatment from the Angkor children’s hospital
• Care, stability and access to counselling and assistance, for children who are physically battered or psychologically in need
• Education and counselling in health, hygiene, drug and family planning
• Age related counselling and awareness about HIV/AIDS, sexual health and relationships
• Daily Meditations

• Skill development and vocational guidance (when the time comes)
  
• Opportunities to expand their interests and knowledge of new subjects

• Family support and assistance for community reintegration
• Positive mentors and role models
• Morale boosting exercises: Day trips to local cultural attractions and special outings
• Sibling Sponsorship; reintegrating children with their families and school, obtaining birth certificate and enrolling siblings into school

• Skill development and vocational guidance for parents, reintegrating them back in to society
• Care, stability and access to counselling and assistance for mothers who are physically battered or psychologically in need
• Education and counselling in health, hygiene, drug and family planning for parents including women's health workshops

• Reintegrating children and families back into the community as positive role-models
