Janine and Greg Hoffman have been coming to Green Gecko since 2009, when Janine was working for our friends at Porter Novelli. She helped us make our very first short film, Kim Suan's story... and soon shared the Green Gecko bug with her husband!

Janine and Greg organised a 'Green is Good' charity fundraiser in September 2010, through Greg’s company, The Intelligent Investor. The screening of Wall Street 2 saw the return of Gordon "Greed is good" Gekko and had obvious connections to the finance sector (as well as Gecko and the green theme). The movie night was a success, with 250 people joining Gecko mum Tania at Sydney’s Randwick Ritz, and $16,500 raised for Green Gecko. Thank you, Janine and Greg!

1. Choose a cinema that offers a a reduced rate for fundraising events.

2. Enterain people at your event and raise extra funds for Green Gecko by holding a prize raffle or an auction (preferable for an affluent audience).

3. Bring Green Gecko to life... screening Kim Suan’s video on the night is a great way to tell the Green Gecko story.

4. Promote your event through local media and social networks, and look for a suitable business to partner with.
